So I know by now you guys have heard about and probably joked to death some old lady named Mimi Faust from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. To be honest I’ve never heard of any of these people and I get offended when people walk up to me and talk about them as if everyone knows who they are. Reality shows don’t make you famous.
As I’m hearing about this I realize one of the oldest adages still rings true especially in today’s society. People have a hard time understanding the concept of forever and a lot of people are just bad decision makers. And that is a pretty bad combo.
Cue The Rant!
You see examples of bad decision making all the time these days. People do things like get all types of tattoos and make sex tapes. A lot of people are all about “right now” and don’t really think about the decisions they make and how they might affect their life down the road. I mean get real. I don’t care how much money Mimi Faust stands to make (which I researched that it’s far from millions) it will never be enough to make it easy enough to explain to her daughter why she did this on purpose. The only way Mimi wins in this situation is if she makes at least a quick 10 million or more or turns it into a opportunity to make millions in the coming year. And judging by what I heard and and using common sense, neither of those things is going to happen.
This will be a flash in a pan story people will forget about mid way through the new Love and Hip-Hop season. But this will also be something that will follow her for the rest of her life. She is sadly mistaken if she thinks this will make her a star and an opportunity to make money down the road. Another idea that turned out to be a bad decision because it wasn’t thought out.
You see, the concept of forever won’t hit her until 10 years from now when her daughter finds out one way or another about what her mother did. Then she’ll realize how permanent her decision she made was so long ago.
Just like forever won’t hit that girl with all the tattoos until she gets older. She gets it now while she looks amazing. But she doesn’t take into consideration that she will get older and not only will her mindset change but so will her body. She will realize how foolish her past decision was when she has to answer her grandchild’s question as to why she got star tattoos on her stomach 30 years ago.
It all comes back to decision making. People have to realize that all decisions have consequences. Most people aren’t equipped to truly handle their consequences and they don’t seem to understand the concept of forever. And by the time they realize this it’s way too late. Forever means forever. Until it’s over.
And Mona Scott Young, the creator of the Love and Hip-Hop franchise, is the devil, I’m convinced after pimping all these black people and basically lending a helping hand in the destruction of the black race. At least when folks like Tyler Perry make garbage, he has good intentions. Mona Scott doesn’t care what she puts out as long as it translates into money.
But I digress. Be cognizant of your decisions people. Make good ones and carefully think about the possible consequences because they will stick around forever.
Enjoy this beautiful Good Friday. And don’t forget to cue the Sir Charles
